Make sure to eat enough so that your metabolism doesn’t decline. When you don’t eat enough your body responds by suppressing your metabolism. Cheat meals can also help to prevent metabolic slowdown, this should not be done frequently though; maybe about once a week.

Many nutritionists also recommend eating a small breakfast in the morning so that your metabolism doesn’t decline during the day. It is also recommended to eat small meals throughout the day, rather than three big meals, to keep the metabolism going.

High-intensity interval training will stimulate your metabolism, even after you are finished exercising. This is a form of exercise that alternates between intense exercise and less intense exercise.

Muscle burns more calories than fat, so strength training can help increase metabolism. Anabolic hormones stimulated during strength training also helps your body to burn more fat, and calories are consumed by the process of breaking down and rebuilding muscle fibers while you are building muscle.

Do not sit or lie down for a long periods of times because it slows the metabolism.

Some research suggest that pesticides can contribute to weight gain by slowing the metabolism; so you might want to consider buying organic food.

Take a multivitamin everyday, and eat a healthy diet. Vitamin deficiencies can decrease the metabolic rate.

Lorac Gold Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette Review

This is one of my top go-to eyeshadow palettes. I think that it is suitable for all ages because of the colors. It is really easy to make an eyeshadow look with this palette unlike many other palettes, and the eyeshadow shades really compliment each other and are perfect for developing dimension. There are ten eyeshadows, four of them are matte and six are shimmer. I usually use a damp eyeshadow brush to apply the shimmer shades and it looks really nice. I don’t think I would recommend the eyeshadow primer that comes with it though. Overall, if I could only live with a few eyeshadow palettes; this would be one of them.

Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel Review

This product has a 4.7/5.0 review on Sephora, and I definitely think that it is worth that rating. I have read on the Lancer website that Dr. Lancer, the founder of this company, is Kim Kardashian’s dermatologist. I think I can see why since his products are really good. I personally feel that overall, this is an underhyped brand. I have tried multiple products from this line and I felt like almost all of them were excellent, and I generally don’t feel that way about a lot of brands.

The Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel is a facial peel that can be left on for ten minutes to an hour. It contains 10 percent glycolic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells, as well as 10 percent phytic acid, which helps to brighten the face, improve skin tone, and improve and the look of pores. It also contains caviar lime, a fruit native to Australia, and a naturally powerful alpha hydroxy acid. So far I have only tried it once, and I saw a significant diminish in discoloration, and my skin overall became smoother and brighter. The company recommends that when using this product, you should avoid the sun or wear sunscreen.

Overall, I definitely think that when I get a chance I will look at more of the Lancer products, and I will probably repurchase this one once I run out. The price is $90.00, but since you are only supposed to use it maximum twice a week, I think it would last at least several months.

For example, light pink or peach may be flattering for people with fair to medium skin tones, while deeper and bolder shades may be better for people with darker skin tones, such as a deep red color. Shimmery blushes may not be best for people with texturized skin because it can make skin look more texturized.

Placing blush too low on the face may make your face look older and less sculpted, and different ways of applying blush may be more appealing on different face shapes. For example, a person with a square face may want to put their blush directly on the apples of the cheeks to make it look less angular, and a round face may want to apply from the cheekbones and upwards to give a slimming effect. It is important to apply the right amount of product; you want to give your face a vibrant and awake look. Of course you can apply makeup however you want to, but these are just some tips and tricks.

Dr. Brandt Magnetight Age Defier Review

This is a face mask that you apply to your face and use a small magnet provided with the product to remove the product.

There are a number of things that I have tried from Dr. Brandt that I liked, but this was not one of them. I have tried this mask multiple times, and this is what I have seen from it; it is simply a very good moisturizer. I personally have not seen any anti-aging effects. The company claims that “the magnetic properties of the iron based formula… help to reduce signs of aging skin…”. I do not see why this would be, and I personally didn’t see any anti-aging effects that I have seen from other products. I think this product might be good for people with really dry skin. This product also contains iron powder which might actually harm the skin because it can serve as a catalyst in the production of free radicals, which may actually accelerate the aging of the skin. I personally do not suffer from dry skin, and I felt that this made me breakout slightly. So I will most likely not buy this product again because the price is $75.00 for the regular-sized container.  Again, if you have dry skin that isn’t sensitive, this product might be great for you. You can always try the mini-sized version of this mask for $24.00. This product is available at Sephora and Ulta.

How I Currently Remove my Makeup

Normally, whenever I want to remove my makeup I use an oil or oil based product because I found that a lot of makeup wipes burned my skin. So what I do right now is use coconut oil and try to get a much makeup off as I can multiple times. I use coconut oil because I felt that it gently removed makeup, and I don’t want to damage my skin. I make sure to remove any mascara and eye makeup as well with the coconut oil. I then use a face wash and my Clarisonic to clean my face. After that, I use a toner with a cotton pad to remove any residue left over. If you have trouble removing mascara, you can try jojoba oil; I have used this before and it removes mascara really well. There are also eye makeup removers on the market. It is important to make sure that you remove all makeup because it can clog your pores, breed bacteria, and even not removing mascara and damage your natural lashes.
